Hello, I’m Korinne!<\/p>\r\n

I would like to share my story so far with you …<\/p>\r\n

There was a time when I felt like an outsider in my own career. It seemed like everyone else was taken more seriously, listened to, and had more success. I felt invisible, constantly questioning myself and wondering why I couldn\u2019t break through. Self-doubt and insecurity were my constant companions.<\/p>\r\n

My career started in Finance in Guernsey, then I spread my wings and went to the UK in 1985. One of the most pivotal experiences for me was during my time as Duty Manager in the British Airways lost baggage department. Every day was a challenge – dealing with upset customers and daily conflict, while also keeping my team motivated and focused. It wasn\u2019t easy, but I learned so much about communication, leadership, and how to remain calm under pressure.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

I was fortunate to have a brilliant manager during that time, someone who believed in me when I didn\u2019t fully believe in myself. She saw potential in me and encouraged me to apply for a training role, despite my fear of speaking in front of others. I was terrified, but I applied – and got the job.<\/p>\r\n

At first, it was a struggle. Nerves would keep me up at night, and the thought of standing in front of my colleagues, delivering training, was daunting. But with time, I started to find my feet. I began to see that the more I practiced, the more comfortable I became.<\/p>\r\n

The turning point came when I was asked to design a stress management programme for the airline and integrate it with customer service. I was also part of the BA Employee Assistance Programme and studying for a Counselling Diploma at East Surrey College, so I felt aligned with this project. Then when I delivered the material I\u2019d created, I discovered something important – I was far more confident when I was speaking from my own expertise, in my own voice.<\/p>\r\n

From that point on, I didn\u2019t look back. My journey continued as I delivered leadership programmes across the world, working with people from all kinds of cultures. It was an incredible learning experience. Then, in January 2000, I took the plunge and started my own training company. I quickly discovered that being an entrepreneur was an entirely different challenge. It took far longer than I\u2019d imagined to find my feet and that\u2019s a story for another time and my journey continues!<\/p>\r\n

And that\u2019s what has brought me here today. I understand how it feels to struggle with self-doubt, to feel as though you\u2019re not being heard, or that you don\u2019t quite belong. I\u2019ve walked that path, and I know what it takes to overcome those obstacles. That\u2019s why I\u2019m so passionate about helping professional people unlock their full potential through my Training and Coaching programmes.<\/p>\r\n
