It&#8217;s what brings you joy and inspires you to get out of bed every day.<\/p>\n<p>You will know that the French have a similar word: <strong>\u201cRaison D\u2019\u00eatre\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0meaning \u2018a reason for being\u2019 or \u2018purpose\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>And it\u2019s not just us as individuals that thrive with a clear purpose, it is companies too:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">It&#8217;s only when companies are clear about their purpose, have clearly communicated it, and it is understood by the team that companies can achieve both unity of effort and distributed decision making.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">-Marc Koehler- (Leading with Purpose)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>And you will have heard of Simon Sinek\u2019s book \u201cStart with Why\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Case in point; when it comes to retirement, people can feel a little lost.
