For instance, if they gave something up for us, we might want to replace it or make up for it in some way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If in doubt about what to do, I believe the best place to start is by saying a genuine \u201c<em>thank you<\/em>\u201d (using their name and making eye contact) and <em>why<\/em> you appreciate what they did, said or whatever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><em>\u201cThe real gift of gratitude is that the more grateful you are, the more present you become.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><em>&#8211; Robert Holden &#8211;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>[<\/em>British psychologist, author, and broadcaster, who works in the field of positive psychology and well-being]<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">And not to forget the balance to giving thanks is <em>how we receive them<\/em> \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><strong><em>\u201cWhen we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><em>&#8211; Maya Angelou \u2013<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">[World-renowned author best known for her unique and pioneering autobiographical writing style]<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you haven\u2019t already, l invite you to book a <em><u>free<\/u><\/em> consultation with me if you\u2019d like to explore this further.
